Will it fit?

Because i have just returned the used motherboard that i bought through amazon.co.uk (Asus maximus v formula) and because i have already bought the Dark rock pro 3 to use it with that board (that i can't use now) i wondering if the coller will fit into my case.

Im having a asus 980 strix in the very first slot, ill attach some pictures:

Does it fit there?

If yes, how will affect to the air flow in my case?

But now that that's out of the way. It'll fit. The Dark rock 3 is a bit shorter than the dimm slots. It looks like a pretty comparable board layout as far as first pci-e socket is concerned.

Now, what are the perfect temps for a 3770? i want to know if i improve my temps =)

EDIT: Now im in minimum 32C Maximum 55C

Doesn't matter at all. Against most people believes, GPU backplates don't radiate heat. And if they do, its too little to make any difference with CPU cooling.

My concern is about the cpu cooler, the dark rock, i juat want to know how it affect to the air flow or if it going to create a negative air pressure XDDD

Oh. Well, it makes overall airflow better. Since you have 1-2 more fans directing cool air to CPU and then hot air towards exhaust fan/s.
