Hi

my computer when i turn it on starts the cpu and gpu heatsink fan and case fan but does not post what so ever and emits 1 long beep and 2 short beeps i have had a small look into some information on a site that said the beeping is to do with the RAM stick so i tried using it in different slots and even tried with a Kingston hyper x fury blue ram a 1600mhz and even tried it in different slots to.

just giving it one last shot before i send it into a computer store to be fixed or to replace a part

remove the video card and see if it boots with the on-board

alternatively, try the video card in the other PCIe port

i removed the video card and it works sort of if i let it boot up shows the windows loading symbol and then goes blank then shows the windows automatic repair screen which also happened to my laptop which i got the hard drive replaced and it works fine now so i think i have to replace one of the HDD and reinstall windows

also i tried a different slot and it did the same thing so i think the GPU is dead to
