Sudden freezes (v4.0)

The other thread died, so here is a new one.

 

Look at the previous threads via my profile if you need some background info. My specs are also on my profile.

 

I have suspicions that my PSU is causing this problem. Is there any way to diagnose it? I can't just buy a new psu on a whim, so I would rather be sure that that is the problem.

 

I can provide extra details if needed.

 

TL;DR

 

pc freezes every now and then, moreso when performing more demanding tasks.

no bsod, no error codes.

Run Aida 64 stress test for 12 hrs and monitor temps.

I have a water cooler, so I don't think temps will be an issue.

Also, there is no way my pc will run for 12 hours.

If the cpu is a 100% than yes.

My cpu runs at around 70-80%

One thing I noticed was that it runs at a speed higher than the supposed maximum.

I did over clock it at one point, but I'm pretty sure I returned everything back to normal afterwards.
