Amazingx

So i downloaded nero 7 and my pc freaked out. So i suspect virus. Can virus do anything if my pc is shut down like send emails lr data?

Wow, Nero is still a thing?
I remember using that thing like 10+ years ago... I think I even still have a disc of it, since it came with a DVD RW drive I bought before. I honestly just use PowerISO these days and even there, I almost never burn discs anymore.

 

While the "virus" cannot technically do "anything" when the computer is shut down, if it was also a keylogger, someone may have gotten access to your email's password and can send emails with it. Enable two factor authentication to counter this. But still run Malwarebyte and some other security suite, preferably in "Safe Mode".

Nah it didnt sejd email or anything my computer is shut down even monitor and im not loged into any of my email accounts on pc cause i dont use pc i was using it for playing games but i bought console which i consider much better since i was growing up with ps2 console now i got ps3 and i play to get ps4.

Your computer 'freaked out' because you tried to install Nero 7, I'm pretty sure the latest version is like 16 or 17?
