Im buliding my first pc and asking as many questions as posible

can you even get an am3+ itx build?

Is 4 cores enough for gaming to run every title at 1080p (with a GTX 970)?

when is the zen architecture released?

Is an AMD A10 apu able to run Triple A titles at 1080p (I think 20 Fps Is playable)

any help welcome

There was an AM3 ITX board a long time ago made by Zotac, but it was terrible. You won't find any AM3 ITX boards due to the physical mapping of where the chipsets have to go. 4 cores is plenty enough for gaming btw. As for Zen, we have no official release date. We believe it will be 2H of 2016 for some of the consumer SKU's, and 1H of 2017 for the rest of them.

As for the AMD A10 question, i don't know for certain. I have an A8 laptop that does okay (not exactly the best) but 20fps should be possible, depending on the title and settings.
