iTunes backup onto another drive

I am running windows 7 and my drive is getting full and I don't have any more space to save my iPad backups. I have a external drive but I don't know how can I move the backup to the external drive

I never used iTunes, but from what I know about Apple, how they won't let you do shit with what you paid for unless it goes through them, you'll most likely have to redownload it all from iTunes
