Hey! I just finished 2 builds for $900 dollars. One is featuring the FX-8320 processor while another is using the Intel core i5-4670. I will post the two builds below.

Intel:http://pcpartpicker.com/user/sribeast21/saved/2k2g

AMD:http://pcpartpicker.com/user/sribeast21/saved/2ia9

Which build should I get.

Uses of computer:

1. Gaming

2. Web browsing

3. School Work

4. video rendering

***I want to go with the CPU that has a socket that will last for longer so I can upgrade. Which build should I get because I want to upgrade in the future and keep the same socket 1150 or AM3+ motherboard. Which CPU will have a longer future down the line.

For the video rendering I would suggest the AMD build since it has more cores but if you want an upgradeable socket then maybe go with the Intel build since it's a new socket and the AM3+ is some years now

I would go with the Intel at that price as for life span of the socket no one knows but amd are rumored to be moving away from high end cpu and going for more apu chips

Things like web browsing and microsoft office (for school work) would rely less on your cpu and more on your storage. Get a 64GB SSD or 120 if you can fit it in your budget.

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 @ Stock, CPU cooler: Dark Rock 4, Motherboard: MSI B450M PRO-M2 MAX, RAM: 2x8GB Crucial Ballistix DDR4 @ 3000Mhz, GPU: EVGA GTX 1080 ACX 3.0, SSD: Crucial P1 1TB M.2 + 2x120GB SSDs, Case: Corsair 110R, PSU: Corsair TX650M, OS: Windows 10 64-bit.
