Need a cheap PC

Hello Folks,

My Parents need a new computer badly so i was wondering if i could save them some money and help build them a super cheap computer.

Location: Canada

Budget: As little as possible

Monitor: can run any resolution

Peripherals: Need a keyboard, mouse, and cheap smaller than 24" monitor

Reason For Upgrade: they are using a really old computer

Uses: Every day internet use, very light video converting ex. converting a .mkv to .mp3 so i can be added to itunes

OS not needed.

I would assume an AMD A8 would suffice with 4/8gigs of ram and an SSD

Could you Go for a cheap laptop?  You can get one for about 3-400 CAD and it has everything you need, the only downside is that it is not as upgrade able

man, i gamed on a Trinity a6, A8 is pushing it IMO

Never used em so i wouldnt know, future proofing and all that made the a8 say hello in my mind.
