Instead of having 2 towers in the house (we both want an upgrade), were considering creating a single computer running 2 gaming-oriented VM`s off of it. After watching Linus`s video about it, I whipped this part list up. Am I on the right track?

Negative. Use a Xeon 8-core processor based system...better IPC and better virtualization integration. AMD FX is a very inefficient and old tech.

Virtualization is the only thing AMD is good at compared to intel, it's kind of a crap shoot weather some intel parts have all the virtualization support needed.

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...
