Rendering Problems

Yo guys, wassup

Yesterday, I got a new intro template animation thingy(its for youtube) and when I started rendering it in blender it takes WAY too long. It took 2HOURS just to animate 100 frames and it still has 300 more to go. My cpu is an amd a8 7410. Is it a problem with my cpu because it took 8 hrs to render 175 frames and there are 480 frames in total.

That sounds about normal to me. Try lowering the render settings a bit. Like remove AA and such if possible (if its even on, havent used blender that much just C4D) Oh the A8 isnt really a beast in rendering if I'm right so expect long render times. My 8350 takes years to render stuff in C4D. (1000 frames of a large model with high quality settings = 6 hours)

Oh can you link the file that should be rendered?

yep windows 10

go in task manager find your rendering program in there

right click

left click details

and it will take you to the details tab

right click it and change priority to very high if it asks for a password or something authenticate it

idk if windows still works like that i dont have it any more

Are you rendering it in cycles? On what resolution do you render / samples? That's quite normal especially on cpu that it takes that long. 2:45 min per frame isn't that abnormal and quite fast for cpu. with a relatively good gpu you can easily render appr 5 times faster (this is the scaling from my xeon to the 970 I use)

EDIT: I see you are using a mobile quad core cpu... that's very normal that blender needs that long. Decrease resolution (720p instead of 1080p or even less, the pixels to render decrease with a square, so render time doubles by half the pixels -> 720p has only 1mio pixels, 1080p has 2.1 Mio)
