PC Upgrade Advice

Hey guys

 

I need some advice on upgrading my father's PC. It's sporting an i5 - 2400 @ 3.1Ghz with 6Gb of RAM. I'm on a bit of a budget with around 300 - 400 AUD to spend. I'm thinking of putting in an SSD and possibly upgrading the CPU and motherboard to something a bit faster.

 

Any suggestions?

Would get new SSD and new GPU.. you wont able to fit a CPU and motherboard with 400 dollars, it might work but perform worst.

The CPU should still be fine for every day tasks, putting in a 240gb ssd and maybe upgrading ram would give a better performance boost. Also if it can fit your budget, maybe a 750 ti or a r9 360

Get a SSD and a new GPU. You won't be able to get anything that is better than what you already have with that budget.
