GPU Usage Stuck at 100%

Just got Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege and i messed around with the graphics and everything looks good except for gpu usage. Msi says that GPU usage is at 99% the entire time, even if i use medium or low settings. I have a gtx 960 superclocked to 4 gigs of v-ram. Im not sure why the usage doesnt change when i mess around with all the graphic settings. I tried restarting msi and the same thing is showing up. The game does NOT lag at all and seems to be running great. it's just the gpu usage that's really bothering me. I know it's not bad to have high usage, but the graphic settings aren't helping at all. not even a little. Anyone having the same problem?

No matter the graphic settings, the graphics card will push itself as far as it can to give you the highest FPS possible. The only way to reduce your GPU usage at low or medium settings is to cap the framerate using either V-sync or some other sort of frame limiter.

Sounds normal to me, not like the 960 is a high end card, it should have to work hard on a brand new game.

Unless you have an FPS cap in place it'll just run higher or lower framerate using the whole GPU the whole time.

Unless it runs like that all the time(even while idle), nothing's wrong
