Ehhhh...I got a i5 2300 for 50 quid like 6 months ago...if you don't mind going sandy-bridge, there's a lot of quad i5 that you can have for the same price or slightly more :D

How much is a Sandy Motherboard?

It would use the same motherboard as ivy, socket 1155

Yes, 4.4 ghz all day everyday.

What FPS you getting on games>?

That is a very broad question. And my fps is limited by my 970, not by my cpu's clockspeed

Actually, it's limited by vsync, my 970 isn't even the bottleneck lol

Im using the I5 4460 and the FTW+ 970. And only getting 100 ish on ULTRA on BF4.

I don't play bf4, and I have a 60hz monitor so yeah. Either way, cpu performance has very little impact on fps one you have enough performance to not bottleneck your gpu. Some games are exceptions, battlefield multiplayer is cpu intensive to a certain degree. If you drop from ultra to high and the framerate goes up, then your cpu isn't limiting your fps
