Hyper 212 questions

hi guys i have a few questions about the Hyper 212 evo 

 

1. will i be able to OC an 8350 with it , 2. if i spray paint the cooler to match the rest of my build will it effect the performance , 3 , is it any good in general ?

You can get a decent oc on it .

If you spray paint the whole cooler, it will basically stop it from working.

The Hyper 212 Evo is a great value.

I have a 212 Plus and it's currently still in my rig until I can buy a Reserator 3 Max

1. Yes

2. Only paint the top fins, if you want a black heatsink get a Dark Rock 2

3. Yes, especially because of the price

You should be able to get a decent OC out of it. Only the top but even then it might affect performance in the slightest way possible. It`s a very good cooler for the price, a lot of people call it the king of low budget coolers.
