are there any defragmetning programs for ubuntu?

i have been using my pc for 2-3 months and haven’t defragged it once so i think its time :P

are there any ways you can do it for Ubuntu or does it have its own thingy? for defragmenting

If you are using an SSD, I will assume you aren't, then there is no need to defragment your hard drive. There are plenty of tools available on Linux to defragment a drive but unless your drive is 80-90% full, then you probably don't need it as the filesystem used by default in Ubuntu, ext4, handles the writing of files much better than NTFS does.

Linux doesn't get fragments. You don't need to defrag.
