What psu is needed for i5 2500k cpu oc'd greatly plus SLI GTX 670 and TRI SLI GTX 670 ?

800 to 1000 watts plus. Depends how close you want to run to the power supplies efficiency curve.

You'll be probably drawing about 550-650w running three-way SLI + the CPU so I'd be aiming for about an 850w PSU but I reckon you could get away with a 750.

Have a look at the Corsair AX and AXi, Seasonic X and Silverstone Strider Plus series for some quality PSU's. :)

I reckon 700W minimum but I would go for a good 850W. More if you're going to OC the 670s.

A Corsair or Seasonic brand 750W or 850W PSU.

if it's realistically pulling 500-550w at load then you'd want something to run at its 50% peak efficiency.

this is a top psu with enough connectors for tri sli and comes in at quite a nice price :D

Nothing less than 850 as you will probably run into the situation where you need to use those awful pci-e power adapters below that.

AX860/860i would be my choice (whichever you can find cheaper as the 'i' is useless)
