Work: Yes, but don't!

Please get a PSU made by Seasonic or XFX or selected ones from EVGA such as the B2, G2 or GS instead.

Y'all act like corsair PSUs regularly explode.

Yes, they use cheaper caps, but that doesn't mean they'll explode or they'll kill your system. They're not as durable, but they still aren't going to harm your system.

I never said that corsair PSUs explode or that corsair PSUs are bad.

The CX is for low power, low heat computer like ones in offices. A gaming PC is not that.

Which doesn't mean it won't work admirably in those situations.

Yes, it can't handle the same temps as the higher tier ones, but that's usually not necessary either, as most cases make the PSU draw air from outside the case anyway.

30C+ is not an unreasonable case temperature for a gaming PC, but the CX is only rated for 30C.

But as I said, does that really matter when fresh air is supplied directly to the PSU? If your PSU is pulling air from in the case, sure, but I doubt a fresh air intake will cause issues.

If your case is 30C, your PSU will be 30C. Black boxes are very good at conducting heat.
