I've been pretty set on buying a sapphire r9 380 until I found that a gigabyte 380x is cheaper where I live which is odd. However I do play a decent amount of Warframe and that game does use a decent amount of physx. Therefore is it worth waiting for the 960ti and seeing how it performs and if so when can it be expected? A bunch of websites said January but so far it's been dead silent. Or should I just go for the 380/x and not bother? Thanks in advance!

Just get the 380X. Don't get a GPU on Nvidia side just because of Phyx. Much rather go with a higher performing GPU.

We don't even know if there will be a 960TI, no point waiting. - If there is going to be one, it's obviously going to perform in between a 970 and 960.

I doubt the Gtx 960ti will be worth its salt in performance.  Just sit back and wait for pascal.  That will be worth its performance, especially in 1440p resolution.  This is a crazy time where video games are moving towards higher resolutions, and technology is changing with new iterations of USB, m.sata, and more.  Just watch the market.  Jump in at the start of a new generation of cards, not in final stretches.
