Temporary GT 520

My friend just bought a ton of computer parts but he has no gpu I am going to give him my GT 520 that I just have and see if that will do much for him. Will it even?

Fx 4300 his motherboard doesn't have any display uints

it'll be horrible, but it'll output a display, which is basicly what its designed for.

I would rather just get an old 8800gt or something for a few $ if you can then spend more on a modern low end card because he definitely won't be gaming on a gt520.

8800GT is way older thou

 

that is a DX10 GPU and the GT520 is still at least a DX11 GPU
