Is emulating hardware possible?

Hi,

I have just a random question - is it possible? I mean, for example I need a USB OTG cable for my phone, is it possible that I run a program, plug my phone in and entire computer works like a USB hub? That would be kinda cool.. But I don't know whether it is feasible or not..

for that example you would need some sort of USB passthrough, just something like that is probably possible

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...
