New PC build

Go to solution Solved by Chairdolf_Sitler,

Okay, I did some changes, and I have this set:

CPU: Intel Cire i5 4460 (I have it)

Motherboard: MSI H97I AC

GPU: MSI Radeon R9 390

RAM: Kingston HyperX Beast 2x8GB DDR3

PSU: Corsair RM650i

Monitor : ASUS MG279Q

Case: Corsair Obsidian 250D

CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i

HDD: Western Digital 1TB WD10EZEX (I have it)

SSD: Samsung 850 PRO 256GB

As you can see, I changed the Motherboard and RAM, upgraded the SSD, and settled with my current CPU. This way I got enough money to afford ASUS MG279Q, a 1440p FreeSync monitor. But I have a few questions:

1. What PSU can you recommend that is reliable, can handle this rig, and doesn't cost as much as Corsair RM650i?

2. Is there a big difference for gamers between 8GB and 16GB of RAM? If not, then I'll stay with my current HyperX Fury 2x4GB kit.

3. Would you recommend any other Mini-ITX Motherboard that is good enough for this rig and costs less than H97I AC from MSI? Built-in WiFi is a must.

Before you ask, I don't want to change to Micro-ATX or ATX. Mini-ITX box was something I wanted for a long time, and I won't change my plans. Call me stubborn, this is how I want it to be. But if you know of any Mini-ITX case with similiar style as Obsidian 250D (meaning polished, aluminum front and clean looks, like Define R5) then let me know.

lol

I like to eat ice, it's cold, like me.
