Good day everyone. I'm planning on modding and going white. I've got a couple of questions. can a gpu backplate be modded by painting it white ? And any tips on what type of paint to use. and any other suggestions on going white ? All tips and advice will be appreciated. ( sorry for the messy bed).

For my next build I want to go with a Phanteks Evolv ATX, but the new Mastercase one really has me torn a bit.

How exactly does the modular part work? Does it come with a bunch of things that you can swap in or out or does it come with some barebones kit and make you buy extra stuff online?

hahaha yeah I rarely use the optical drive so its fine down there and besides with the side panel on you cant see it. but since ive removed the opticaldrive cage the airflow has increased and allowed me to add another fan

When you buy the pro versuion you get quite a lot of extra parts. and with the modular system almost all parts can be removed like the optical drive bat and the harddrive bays (2). and when removing the optical drive bays you get a fitting piece which allows you to add another fan, 3 in total at the front.

For painting your backplate you can use plasti-dip or spray paint, the automotive stuff tends to gives better brightness and vibrance than most regular hardware store spray paint.

 

As for some other mods you could add white accents to parts around the case like the front or top panels, I personally would say go for a color scheme with three colors, two main ones black and white with an accent one like the blue.
