This is my current system. I think It is well worn and outdated, as well as being loud to keep temps down (I get blue screens from time to time due to GPU load temps)

ASRock Fatal1ty Gaming 990FX Killer
AMD FX-8320 Vishera 8-Core 3.5GHz
PNY 16GB DDR3
Club 3d royalQueen R9 270x
Generic 700 watt power supply
NZXT Kraken X60 AIO liquid cooler (push fan setup)
Samsung Evo 120GB ssd
2x Generic 1tb HDD
NZXT H630 Black case

Intake fans
2x 200mm
2x 140mm

Exhaust fans
3x 140mm

Idle CPU temp 33C fans at 80%
Idle GPU temp 26C fans at 75%

This is what I have so far for the new build
I want the case to be on my desk to clear up floor space
The reason I choose the graphics cards like I did was because the ASUS 960 and 970 are virtually the same, minus memory interface

ASRock H170M Pro4 LGA 1151 Intel H170

Intel Core i5-6600K 6M Skylake Quad-Core 3.5 GHz

G.SKILL Ripjaws 4 Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) 288-Pin DDR4 2133

2x ASUS GeForce GTX 960 TURBO-GTX960-OC-4GD5 128-Bit

EVGA 220-G2-0650-Y1 80 PLUS GOLD 650W ECO Mode Fully Modular

EK-KIT L240 for CPU cooling

Crucial MX100 2.5" 256GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CT256MX100SSD1

2x Seagate Barracuda STBD3000100 3TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive

Just curious what everyones thoughts and concerns are with this new setup.
I am also looking for input on a case
I chose this motherboard because I am to space the video cars out so they cool better

I would recommend a single GPU for uATX, a 980(ti) for instance :)

Uh. Why two GPUs? I think you could leverage a GTX 970 or R9 390 in this one.

You also have a K series CPU with a motherboard that doesn't support overclocking. :P

get a z170 chip if your getting the 6600k

or use an i7-6700 (non-k) if you really want that motherboard, they are about the same performance when you oc the 6600k

and a single 970 is better, incase you want to upgrade to a 2nd 970, if you can afford it, its better get a powerful single card instead of 2 weaker ones

(but if you really want 2 cards, a 950 is a better choice than a 960 - they cost about 150$ rather than 200$ and 2 of them are about 10% faster than a 970 in games that are optimized for sli)

or get a R9 390 instead if youre team red
