Software RAID 1 to another machine?

Hey guys,

 

I'm in progress in switching machines (selling my machine to build another) and I have 2 drives in RAID 1 through Windows 10 Pro. I was wondering if there would be any issues moving the RAID from one machine to the other since it's software RAID (I didn't set it up in the BIOS).

 

If so, is there a way to "unraid" so there wouldn't be any issues?

Moving software RAID is fine, as the information is stored on the disks, not the OS or hardware BIOS chip.

As for 'unraiding', yes you can abandon a RAID 1 - i've never done it in Windows though.
