No. The 9370 is just an overclocked 8350.

it costs a lot of money, and is only OEM available, i would not bother. the only difference is the clock speed

There isn't any difference except in the clock speed, you won't notice any difference in performance

Then again, you can oc then 9370 and it'll likely oc better due to higher binning.

If you would spend so much for a 9370, better performance would be gotten out of the 4770K from Intel. Just go with an 8350 and overclock that sucker!

my bad, i thought it was only available in prebuild machines, so you wouldent put it on a cheap mobo, but if you say its not.

The majority of places where they are available will only sell them in pre builds or as part of a package with a cooler. There are pretty few places where you can buy the CPU by itself.

 

On launch it was OEM only though :)

I was the first to post about the new amd processors and that's because i saw them on pre-order on 2 Australian stores.
