what's your budget? if you have no budget i reccomend dual ROG Swifts.

They're both 27 inches, above 120hz and the PG279q is 4ms

As others have said, we need a budget. From personal experience i would recommend BenQ XL series monitors, i myself use the xl2411z. I don't know of any 25" monitors that have 120+hz refresh rate.

My Rig: AMD Ryzen 5800x3D | Scythe Fuma 2 | RX6600XT Red Devil | B550M Steel Legend | Fury Renegade 32GB 3600MTs | 980 Pro Gen4 - RAID0 - Kingston A400 480GB x2 RAID1 - Seagate Barracuda 1TB x2 | Fractal Design Integra M 650W | InWin 103 | Mic. - SM57 | Headphones - Sony MDR-1A | Keyboard - Roccat Vulcan 100 AIMO | Mouse - Steelseries Rival 310 | Monitor - Dell S3422DWG

My budget would be quite a bit cheaper than $1000 for each, im looking for maybe $300 each, nothing too crazy to start off aha.

Sorry i didn't put in a budget!

And i'm just confused whether spending a lot of money on monitors is really worth it and not over doing it as i feel i can do that aha.

that really depends. i used to have a LG Flatron 19" monitor for most of the time, tough i recently switched to a curved 27" samsung, and damn, that was quite the upgrade :D it changes the entire gaming experience!

if you don't want to spend a fortune on monitors, try looking at some secondhand ones. there should be quite a few out there in perfect condition, and it can save you a lot of money!

Yeah i get where your coming from, do you know where I would be able to find some second hand monitors (Australia, Melbourne), or just search around, only worried i might get something that isn't entirely working or something of the sorts.

and so?

4ms is nothing, you cant even see the difference between 2 and 4ms... let alone 10ms.

well, there's always ebay. tough that always seems a little dodgy to me.

alternatively there is a lot of buy/sell traffic on OCAU the thing with this tough is that you need to be a member for more then 3 months before you can even look at the buy/sell threads. they do this to stop spam.

other then that i don't really know of any. here in The Netherlands we have Tweakers.net. tough sadly that's limited to The Netherlands and Belgium :(

Hmm that's a bit of a pain, I am only 16 as well so PC building is all new to me and which is why i am trying to stay on a slight budget even though the rig i'm building is costing $2,500 Aud, trying to cut some costs and i see the monitor could be something i shouldn't be trying to cut costs on. Thank you so much for all of the advice, may have to settle for something cheap but decent i guess aha:)
