I don't really recommend getting ASRock Boards... had alot of problems...

This is just a gaming build, you can overclock the G3258 to 4.0GHz with stock cooler and probably around 4.5GHz on liquid cooling

Overclock m8?

Yeah. No. That's not going to magically make a dual core become a quad core.

OP hasn't state what games he will be playing, but ok... is he going to be playing Crysis 3 on Ultra Settings?

Edit: Quad Cores are nice. and Octacores are like boobs.

No game will run better on a Pentium than on an i5.

Overclock m8?

Only two threads and two cores. Games like GTA V only like to run on four cores.

Performance of the stock i5 will also do better than the OC Pentium in quite a few games:

As long as I can play most games at minimum or medium graphics at above 30 fps I'm fine

Also, I'm fine with and cards but I prefer Nvidia

If it's one price point AMD dominates at, it's the R9 380 vs the GTX 960. Much better performance than it's NVIDIA counterpart.

It's more debatable at the 390/970's price point, but you're not going to easily find a GTX 970 that's cheaper than the R9 390 in America.
