Never seen that before, I would reinstall latest drivers with clean install option. As for Precision, not sure haven't used it in a while, have you set up the toggle on/off keys? I use MSI afterburner, a little easier for me to follow

Strange, it looks to me like its only installing the 3d vision drivers, If you navigate to C:>Windows>System32>drivers, how many files do you have in there beginning with nv? (don't delete or modify anything). Yeah Afterburner has an overlay, IMO the best program to use

Both Afterburner and Precision X have OSD(OnScreenDisplay), both are based on rivatuner, they are basically the same thing, the interface differs and a couple of features aswell, just navigate to settings and look for OSD settings, tick the thinks you want: eg framerate, time, coreclock, fan speed, memory clock etc, i suggest deleting everything Nvidia related in your pc, drivers and registry, then install back on

okay guys, it seems it wont let me adjust the nvidia settings or show the evga overlay when I have my second monitor connected via on-board not sure why, but I turned it off and it all worked, im buying 2 new monitors that have DVI here soon, so that wont be an issue,

Should have said that from start, i think you can only use it with latest Asrock Motherboards and a program but i cant remember the name :/

AMD Radeon 7870 Gigabyte OC / Intel i5 3570k / ASrock Z77 Pro4 /Samsung 840 EVO 250GB / WD Blue 500GB 7200rpm / Kingston HyperX T1 2x4GB 1600mhz / SeaSonic 520w M12 / Thermaltake v4 Black

Yea mixing onboard and dedicated graphics doesn't usually work. It can sometimes with AMD with hybrid CF, but doesn't really apply to most cases.

Not sure on what connection this second monitor has, but HDMI can be converted to DVI passively and many graphics cards come with a DVI to VGA adapter, both can be picked up fairly cheaply if you don't have one lying around.

Glad you got sorted in the end though :)
