If my PC uses 300W, it means that it uses 300W per hour right?

So if I compute the impact on my electric bill it will be..

 

0.3 * (Hours of use per day) * 30 * (Price per kwh) = Monthly Bill

 

Please educate me if there's something wrong. Thanks a lot!

No, it just uses 300W. If it were running for an hour, then it would come out to be 300Wh.

Oh yea im a little sleepless. Lol But still my formula above is correct right? That's how I will compute the impact of my pc on the monthly bill.

This should help you out :)

 

kWh*price/kWh=cost of running your PC.
