sounds almost like a usb problem over a power one to me. since replacing your pc psu has nothing to do with the wall cable that plugs into your g27

and what do you mean works fine for 5 mins on xbox... Same problem or what

well you said it works for 5 mins. what do you mean by that?

also it could be a faulty usb port on your pc have you tried others. it just seems weird that a psu caused a problem on something that gets power from another source that isn't the pc

Edit: have you tried one of the mobo usb ports on the back and not one on the front? just trying to eliminate some things

i connected it to the xbox for 5 minutes , and the wheel gets power. when i connect it to the pc however , thats not the case. its just gets power and loses power. when i upgraded my pc , i disconnected all the usb 3 ports cause the cables just wont reach the connectors with this huge graphics card. maybe thats the issue? maybe i have to connect it to usb 3?

i dont think so though , theres another computer with only usb 2 that it worked fine on

try a mobo usb port, maybe one of the usb wire broke when you were plugging and unplugging them when replacing the psu and its not getting connection properly

also the g27 doesnt get power from usb at all. it gets a signal, the power comes from the wall not the pc. you get connection on your xbox so im assuming youve tried to use it in game and not going by the lights turning on. if you have then it has to be something with the usb ports

tried all the usb ports available . no luck. although some weird stuff are going on , i just unplugged all my peripherals , like keyboard and mouse (which works perfectly without any power issues) tried to connect it to all of the ports one by one , no luck , but when it was still plugged in , i plugged in the keyboard and mouse back and on the second i plugged the keyboard the wheel got power for like 1 second and got back to sleep again , same with the mouse.. what the hell? i tried plugging it to the xbox for 10 minutes , no issues.. what is going on in here? maybe the 390 is soaking 99% of the power from the mobo? i dont know what to think anymore..

the g27 does not draw power from your computer. it draws power from the wall. It gets a signal from the computer

this sounds more of a usb problem not power. only other thing i can think of is change back the psu and see

maybe a logitech driver problem
