Hey guys, wanted to ask if this build was good enough to be superior to the ps3/xbox 360. He wants to play games like TF2, Gang Beats, L4D2, Binding of Issac, Battlefront 2, Day Of Defeat, GMOD, and Quake live. I was wondering tho, can this play games like Gta v, and fallout 4 at Low to mid settings at 30+ fps at 1080p or 900P, what about 2 player Rocket League at 1080p mid to high settings over 30 fps? Also, since were on a budget under 500, is it good? or do i have more options, im looking for quality and cost. We want it to fit onto of the desk that comes with a bunk bed he has, Probably not more than 10 feet long in distance. We have a monitor, we just need a keyboard and 2 game pads, so we can play Gang Beats and Rocket Launcher together from time to time, i also have a friend that will pitch in windows 10 for 20 bucks :) Thanks In advanced!

-snip-

It will crush all the games you mentioned at max. No worries about that. Change the PSU

EDIT, reread the post Kappa.

WOnt run GTA, id recommend upgrading to an i3 with hyperthreading for that.

Planning on trying StarCitizen (Highly recommended)? STAR-NR5P-CJFR is my referal link

Humm, depends on your budget really :I

Also the AMD athlon x4 860K will do a good job at it - Didnt remember this one when i mentioned the i3s. Its cheap and very cost effective.
