What do you think about the new ATX $100 case Thermaltake Core X31?

Dimension (H x W x D) 497 x 250 x 511 mm (19.5 x 9.8 x 20.1 inch)

It might be a little large (8-slot case) but looks like it would have great airflow for cooling. I especially like the PSU shroud with cable grommet and modular parts concept:

I like it but not really the front panel... apart from that it look pretty good.

looks like a good case functionally, but I despise the front panel (of course that's a matter of opinion).

I agree. It makes it look more like a Server. All their Core series have that flat ventilated front panel, except the V1 and V21 cube cases that have a curve to them.

Newegg listing it for $100.

Why not a Define S or Arc Midi R2?

I'm looking at all cases. Waiting to see what's coming out before Spring. I like the Fractal Designs, Phanteks, and NZXT cases too. The Arc Midi R2 has potential for me. I also have an eye towards the new Corsair 400C which is a stunning looker. Even the 400Q has appeal. Might have to DIY a new shroud for it though... ;)

There's also CoolerMaster MasterCase 5 and keep an eye out for Phanteks upcoming Eclipse series.
