What's your budget?

I like the color scheme of Noctua fans. Deal with it. Forget about the bad memories of the past.

Samsung 840 Pro + WD Black

Wouldn't go for a WD Black drive because Black drives gets pretty hot imo.

You get the quality of what you paid for.

Barracuda is unreliable to me.

I have been using Seagate Barracuda HDDs for all my builds and none of them have failed yet so imo they are pretty reliable. Unless you want WD Black's 5 year warranty, I would would suggest the OP to go with a Seagate Barracuda.

SSD+HDD is going to give you the best balance of speed and storage space. SSHDs are a nice idea, but they don't offer anywhere near the level of SSD speed because they usually (most of them) only have 8 GB of SSD space. I would only consider them good options for people who aren't "techie" enough to know how to use multiple drives, but otherwise their performance isn't all that stunning.

i7 not perfectly stable at 4.4.. #firstworldproblems
