reinstall windows(using the upgrade method, you keep all your files. clean install removes all files -duh- ). how/what did you fuck up?

Windows may apps gone. Mail, store etc. Some UI gone. Youtube player buttons gone also. Anyway i dont want to reinstall all programs again, because if i have setup Eclipse again, i will shot my self

iv been thru a more timeconsuming hell with fucking up with windows than you would have. if you use the "upgrade" option when installing windows, it only deletes and reinstalls windows, all programs and shit will stay. thats the same thing as updating from win7 to win10 for example.

Yes. The proper way is as follows:

-> Start > Settings > Update & Security > Recovery

In there, click on the Get Started button, under Reset this PC.

You can choose to keep your stuff or not. Of course, I highly recommend to do backup of your stuff regardless of the option you pick in the case something bad happens due to bad luck either by Windows or your HDD/SSD decides it will be a perfect time to fail on you, just for shit and giggles. Normally, everything should go perfectly smoothly, but backups are always important.
