So I'm 14 and I found out on the kfc site the minimum age to work there is 14, I have a kfc quite close to my house and I'm thinkint about working there part time to save up for some computer parts.

Should I do it and how much do you think I'll make?

Yes you should.

You will likely start out at minimum wage, whatever that is in your area.

You'll get paid shit wage regardless. Least here in the states.

The stress of working fast food isnt worth 15 hours a week and minumum wage... plus they usually dont hire 14 year olds

WHAT I HAVE LIKE 4 KFCS NEAR ME.

Yes, when you've got a flow of money coming in, go for it. Makes hobbies a bit easier, though take possibly 30-40% of your paycheck and put it away for a car, college, ect

OP is in England, it may work differently over there, and it looks better on a resume, generally, since you have at least worked somewhere. That's just how it works here in the states anyways.

But hey, least OP is willing to work. There's dumbasses here in the states who bitch and moan about no jobs but they actually don't wanna work.

Yeah maybe not KFC, they are nasty.

I've got a Wendy's near me and the manager there is my mother's old managers son. Her old boss is now the district manager for my city and I can possibly start above the minimum wage. 15 hours a week, 3 a day. I can do that ( Max hours the U.S. allows for minors I think ).

I would start out doing odd jobs like mowing and lawn care. If you know alot about computers you could start charging people at your school to fix things.

He can either get a job at 18 that pays shit.

Or get a job at 18 that pays decent because he has 4 years of past work experience and references.
