Go to solution Solved by CrazyWhiteShow,

is this the PC that you got?

Strange and first time i ever see Dell use a APU + GPU for a desktop

for a monent i was thinking you got a Laptop APU

Looking at the GPU load of 100% and 30-50% CPU usage is OK

that is unless the values are reversed like CPU load of 100% and 50+% GPU load means the CPU is limiting the GPU

but the APU and GPU combo is still balanced IMO

the FX-8800P is pretty much similar to the A10-7870K, not sure if you can OC the APU thou

the PSU looks like a SFX which only has maybe 250-300 watts of power

these are things to consider when you want to upgrade the GPU

adding a SSD and swapping out the RAM to faster kits will help the PC

That is what I got lol. Also thaks for the help

When i go in to Heaven benchmark and set the quality to low and go into msi after burner (and CPU-Z) I get 30-50 cpu usage but my gpu is at 100% and its at 100% no matter how much i play with the settings. In short have a bottle neck and i need help on what I should upgrade to to get rid of the problem. Here are my specs if it will help at all.

Specs:

GPU: AMD Radon R9 360 (12 compute cores)

APU: AMD FX-8800P

Motherboard: Dell Inc. 0593VH

Memory: DDR3 16GB

I think I listed all the parts, but I might have messed up. Thank you!

That would be right... It is a GPU benchmark. It will run the benchmark at 100% GPU usage no matter the settings, you'll just get better - or worse - frames per second.

If it plays all the games you want it to with settings you're happy with then you're fine?

Well I did forget that it would run 100% in a benchmark I still get the same results in games like sole suspect and frames get jumpy

also what games do you play? diffrent games utilize hardware differently. for example fallout 4 ive noticed was more CPU intensive then games like heroes and generals which was very gpu heavy and tf2 was more balanced out in hardware utilization

So what would you recommend I should upgrade to get a better over all experience?

That's a slippery slope. Are you getting the fps you want at the settings you like? If so game and have fun. If not, well get every last penny you can pinch and come back with a budget. I just spend a week selling everything not nailed down and required for me to stay alive getting ready to buy a Graphics card.

Change the graphics card and you might have a problem with your powersupply, ventilation, ram, or possessor. Change one thing and the rest of your PC is effected. Better to wait until you have to, to change something.

If anyone asks you never saw me.

First make sure your power supply can handle a better graphics card. Brand and wattage rating are important. You'll need a good quality 550w for the better graphics cards. Once you have the power supply worked out then as suggested the 380 is an excellent graphics card. The 390/970 are enough to max out most current games in 1080p.

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.
