due to a serries of unfortunate events with computer i am now in the market for a new cpu block.

 

my ekwb supremicy evo will not touch the cpu if all the posts are installed to hold it down.

im really at a loss for words.
 
any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
 
anyway i was hoping for some recomendations for a cpu block asside from the ekwb supremacy line.
 
i want it to have a clear top so i can see my fluid i was thinking about the swiftech apogee xl or the phobya uc-2 lt but i would like some suggestions

Im not sure what the installation process is, is it listed as compatible for your socket type? maybe your installing it wrong? If your convinced your doing it right and its listed as compatible you should contact EK.

already contacted ekwb and EK_Luc and they couldnt figure it out. my motherboard is listed as compatible on the website but alas.

 

I had the same issue with the Corsair H100i, I found some plastic spacers that I used to increase the space between the back plate and the MB meaning that the screw down points were closer to the CPU. 

tried that and it didnt work. i will try again though but im not getting my hopes up.
