Ssd caching

Hello guys i want to do an ssd cache and i have a few questions about it

So i want to shrink the size of my 128 gb ssd to 2x 64 gb on one i will put windows and apps who need speed and the second for ssd cache. So will the intel smart reponse work on my maximus viii ranger ? Is it worth it or useles ? Thanks for help

If you're talking about caching a HDD then the extra speed would be nice. I noticed quite a difference between fresh installs of MSX on a HDD, a cached HDD and an SSD.
