Pastel Coolants?

Hi guys,

 

Just wondering does the issue with pastel coolants effect all brands or just mayhems, I had the pastel yellow and it went brown and left white powder stuff inside my pump which I took apart and cleaned.

 

Some people have suggested going with red tubing and just using clear coolant but then  will end up with a clear reservoir unless I buy one of those red acrylic ones but I already have a new Alpha cool res.

 

The EK blood red coolant is on my list or alternatively the Red Mayhems  X1 coolant.

Im using mayhem premix never had a issue with color fading .

The clear fluids from Mayhems like the X1, dyes or ones like EK's EVO fluids are not affected by that problem.

Pastel is fine to use so long as you adhere to the warnings about tubing.

Between the two they are both good, I personally like the blood red from EK after seeing Snef's recent build for CES, it looks really sweet.
