Doing a minor upgrade on my HTPC, gonna upgrade from a Q6600 to a i7 920 on a Gigabyte ga-ex58-ud4p board, but im wondering if X58 is even gonna work in Windows 10? Tried looking around a bit and it seems like it should, even tho there arent really any driver support.

Yes I have done it with a ex58 extreme.

Literally took the hardrive out of a 4790k system and put it in and voila.

Sounds good, gonna give it a go, then i can also see how Windows 10 is before i upgrade my main rig from Windows 7 to 10.
