Hello guys!

So I am buying a decent gaming rig off a friend of mine. Here are the specs:

Intel i5-6400 CPU

Asus z170-a motherboard

16gb 1866mhz ddr4 ram

Powercolor R9 390x 8gb graphics card

Kingston hyper x 240gb ssd

2tb Sandisk hdd

3tb Western digital enterprise class hdd

Asus Xonar Pheobus Sound Card

Fractal Define S Case

Corsair RM750 PSU

Custom Waterloop

I will be using the rig for 1080p gaming at the moment with potential future plans to go either 2K or 4K in the near future.

My only concern is, will the i5 6400 bottleneck the 390x or is it ample enough? And if I add another 390x in the future for 4K gaming, will the i5 6400 be enough?

Also, any necessary changes i should make in the current configuration to bring the best out of the components?
