So I built my new computer today and everything was fine and dandy. However when I plugged my headphones into my front panel audio jack it didn't it. My case came with a HD audio plug and I've correctly plugged it in. Any ideas about what might be wrong? Thanks

Phone typing/10. It didn't recognize my headphones and change audio output

you sure you plugged it into the HD audio port on your motherboard and not the old legacy audio thingy?

check your motherboard sound drivers are installed and detect your headphones
