I wouldn't go for that PSU, even in a low power build like this. The W1 series is awful.

You'd be better off spending more on a CPU and less on a board and DDR4 than overclocking

yes, but you need to make sure you have a board that is capable of overclocking. some of the h81 and b85 boards can overclock, but you have to google them to see. obviously, the z boards are capable

So H can overclock the pentium g3258 and i don't think the b's can but thanks ill check the 10 7870k

only certain h81 and b85 boards can overclock. some overclock better than others. usually, you have to do a bios update beforehand. if you have the cash, i would just buy a z board. if not, google which h81 and b85 boards are capable of overclocking. i used to know which ones were capable, but i forgot...
