Neither is definitively better. Peripherals are a matter of preference.

In terms of build quality, both are high enough that it more or less doesn't matter.

Moved to Peripherals.

Depends... CherryMX is better though someone is selling a BlackWidow in the classifieds as we speak.

Personally I rather have CherryMX though my one friend for example who owns a Ducky Shine 3 w/ blues likes his BlackWidow better though my one friend hates the fact that he got a BlackWidow. I'd go to local shop and try out keyboards

The blackwidow is not horrible quality. It is like GTX 960 vs R 9 380, neither is bad one is just better 9/10 times. Though as WoodenMaker stated it is a matter of preference

I just like the feel of Blackwidows Switches, others like Cherry MX, I wen't to my local computer store. Tested out the keyboard switch tester and didn't really like the feel of them, but me personally I like Razer's Switches.

The switches are inferior probably in terms of quality. But the feel is completely different. I like my Blackwidow but it's not the best for the money. Strafe is better

I was looking around clicky keyboards which sound hreat to me and I came up razers blackwidow but the question is are the razer mechanical keys on the 2014 version better then the cherry mx blues on the 2013 and I would also like to know which one is brighter

I am not sure which is louder, but the colors are of the same illumination.

The Quality in terms of longevity are probably equal. The Razer Green(kailh made switches) are a bit different feeling and have the tendency to be a bit inconsistent feeling from switch to switch. I'm not sure how to describe it necessarily but they have kind of a cheaper spring feel as well over the cherry blues. I find that to be true with both kailh and greetech switches.
