"One or more network protocols are missing on this computer"

Randomly and occasionally i get a limited network and when i go to troubleshoot it says this in the title^^. And usually fixes it or it says aswell that the default gateway isn't available then it would do it again and reset ethernet adapter and it would work. What's the problem, thanks for any help

Strange, I'm having the same problem with my laptop right now. Are you running Windows 10? Only thing different for me is that when Windows resets the network adapter, the problem still persists. 

I think something must have royally screwed up with Windows Update, because when I got the problem Windows was just applying the settings.

yeah windows 10 here too, i'll just wait and see for now.

I have the same problem. But mine is a lil worse. I have a fresh windows 7 to 10 upgrade.

Have yall did a winsock reset?

I think my winsock and winsock2. Registries are corrupt since its a fresh install.

Maybe also you can try to flush your dns as well.
