Ok this is my first time building a gaming computer and was wondering if someone/anyone can help me out with water cooling? Ill put up my spec for the computer first then ill explain what am looking for and so on..

CASE - Switch 810 gun metal

PROCESSOR - Intel Core i7-4770K 3.50GHz (Haswell)

MOTHERBOARD - Asus MAXIMUS VI HERO

GRAPHICS - EVGA GeForce GTX 780 3GB PCI-Express 3.0 HDMI Superclocked ACX

POWER - Corsair HX1050 1050W

SSD - Samsung 512GB 840 Pro Series.

Right thats my specs. I want to cool the cpu and gpu for overclocking. Was going to use coloured coolant but distilled water it is and I get leds just for the look. Dont want to change the water more than once or twice a year.

Cpu waterblock- heatkiller rev 3.0.

Gpu- evga hydro copper gtx 780 waterblock.

Was thinking of just an res/pump combo? Swiftech maelstrom 5 dual bay red w/mcp 35x pump.

That all I have wrote down can someone help me out with everything I need and with stuff that fits my case as I dont want to mod anything incase I mess it up lol thanks

You do not need an i7 for gaming.

Your PSU is way overkill. You'll be fine with an 860W even for SLI.

Dont go for the Hydrocopper block. It doesn't perform as well as other blocks.

Your res/pump combo is good. If you want to make it look even better, get a full mod kit from Bitspower and a Laing D5 pump for it.

I like the color scheme of Noctua fans. Deal with it. Forget about the bad memories of the past.

The size of radiator you can use in that case, i think is a 360mm top, 240mm front, 120mm back. You might also be able to use 420 mm top, 280mm front and 140mm back. check out Linus' video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tTwXq0MaNY

Perhaps look at a Laing D5 pump and bitspower res combo for it? Tube res's always look better and wont need modding :D

 You little ninja... I will get you back.

The difference is only like 1-2 degrees

Hm.... Last time I checked a review comparing all of the main WB manufacturers, the Hydrocopper was not doing very well... That might be another block.... Not sure.

Well if you have a watercooling loop your temps will be good either way

Yeah... I edited my post.

You're good to go if you get the Hydrocopper block, OP.

For the water block. Evga uses a Swiftech OEM that you can buy for cheaper

I also have a witch 810 and I cool my I5 and 780 with a single 420 rad in the top of the case. I would recommend alphacool nexxxos ut60 rads. I used an EK 780 waterblock and it works well for me. Go with the waterblocks that look best to you, most are very similar in performance.

Ok folks sorry took so long to wb was working all day :( this is what I have wrote down at the min

.Cpu. ek supremacy full copper.

Gpu. Ek fx titan xxl edition.

Pump/res. Swiftech maelstrom 5 dual.

So you all think I should change the swiftech combo and go for the Bitspower and a Laing D5 pump? I was reading and 360mm top and 240mm rad on bottom? Do rads come with fans or do I need to get them separately? Also don't worry about colour as ill have to change every 6 months anyways or will I stick to distilled and get uv tubing just?
