A friend of mine wants to buy this psu (Force fo27xd 600w) and i saw it's veery cheap and I'm afraid it's going to break in the first 10 minutes. What's your opinion? Should he buy it? 

 

ps: Sorry for lack of link I couldn't find the manufacturer's website (All the more shady if you ask me)

Don't. Just don't. I know what unit you are talking about. Just because it says it's 600W and is cheap doesn't it's reliable to use. What is his budget? I can link you up with something better.

Translation is a factor, but we also need to ensure the brand is decent. If there are no reviews by reputable sites that favor the unit or any reviews at all about it, I would stand clear of it.

This is the unit, it's basically a chineese unit with no reviews etc.

There is nothing ANYWHERE!!! I can't even find the manufacturer's site. Quoting Linus: "Power supplies are serious business". I think I should let him know. Thanks.

Your Friend should stay away from it. Dont buy a cheap crap PSU.
