I've had too many problems with MSI motherboards in the past to ever consider them again. I am currently running a Gigabyte GA-X79-UP4 though and it's great. :)

Depends on what you prefer in terms of looks, qualitywise they're probably pretty similar I'd imagine. I do like the gigabytes looks better though

MSI lied about their specs of my motherboard, the feature did not work as advertised, I paid more money for a feature that I expected to need in the future and now I can't use it because it simply does not work, anyone who mentioned it in their forums was either ignored or silenced, I have Gigabyte parts too and they are not free of troubles, I would recommend trying Asus motherboards.

MSI, Gigabyte, Asus, Asus (Asrock) are all companies with great products, and you can't go wrong with either. So pick the one that has all the features you need and fits your color scheme.

What feature?

I doubt they lied. The problem is probably on the user's side and not the company lying.

I wish you were living near me, I would have thrown that peace of crap at you and waited to see how you are going to make that feature work magically. If MSI official forums/admins could not solve it and was rude enough not to admit it but kept closing threads about this problem for lame excuses then I am sure you can't unless you are better than the companies that never make errors but that would be impossible right?

Again, what feature?
