Steelseries Siberia V2 or 7H non usb

yandaman

Gonna try and get a new pair of headphones soon but cant make up my mind between the two. Reviews that I've found seem to say that the 7H has connection problems and dies in one ear after a few months, anyone know anything about this? Also which has better audio quality for gaming/music, or if you know other headphones around the same price bracket that are better I wouldn't mind looking into them

All I know is that Linus will recommend the 7H's instantly if this question is asked to him, I personally have not had the chance to listen to them and can only go off of what he says about them. If you were wondering I use some studio monitoring headphones (KRK KNS 6400's to be exact).

Yeah Linus is where I heard about them but from the reviews I've read just seemed a bit dodgy.... I'll look into them :)

I have a pair of Siberia's, and my friend has a pair of 7H's, the sound from the 7H is much better than the Siberia's. So I'd have to say get the 7H

I'm currently loving my new 7H's. The sound is really good, they feel great, and I haven't had any problems with them but they are still new. One thing I would note is that all the places I saw, the 7H USB was the same price or even cheaper than the non-USB. I know it's not a great sound card but if you can get something for nothing, why not? I picked mine up at Amazon for around $100.

I'm gonna be a little bias because one of my speakers just cut out on my Siberia's after a year and half of solid abuse
