Are you looking for a way to play D&D on PC ?

Then you are probably looking for sites like https://roll20.net/ or https://www.owlbear.rodeo/.

If you wanna host it yourself then https://foundryvtt.com/ is a good option.

sure that would technically work, but it would be not a very convenient way to play it. The dedicated tools make both DMing and playing easier. especially for beginners that aren't that familiar with the games rules.

Funny how i literally just looked at this 3 due to how abysmal D&D Beyond is beyond the community homebrew.

FoundryVTT is *fantastic* if you're technically inclined. I am running my party through Curse of Strahd with FVTT coupled with MrPrimate's D&D Beyond integration. One click importing of full adventures.
